Christmas morning was so fun. Shawn and I grabbed the video camera preparing to awaken our little elf for the big morning. He was far more ready to get up than we thought as he jumped away in his crib. We let him walk into the living room to see the pile of presents "under" our tree. The look on his face was priceless, his eyes got wide, he exclaimed his new favorite word "WOW", then ran to the presents. Right away he grabbed one of the gifts and was ready to rip, but when we sat him down with his first gift he was so delicate and gentle as he lightly tore little pieces away before revealing the surprise inside. By the end of his presents he was a pro, jumping and tearing, all excited to see what was inside. More than anything, Shawn and I had fun watching him and his excitement with each new surprise.
