Happy 2nd Birthday Caelan!!!

THE kitchen set

Doing some cookin'

Cheers!

Caelan began his morning with birthday blueberry muffins.
We sang to him about four times, per his request.

Then ended his day with birthday rice
and some more singing (by us and himself)
08-27-09 Caelan turns two! Wow we can't believe two years have gone by. He is our first wonderful blessing. The beginning of the Kinzer Clan.
He had his two year exam on 8-28-09.
His weight is 31 lbs, height 36 1/4".
He wears a 2T in most clothes, some a little larger, and a size 8 shoe.
He has officially learned he can crawl out of his bed. (Which he did this a.m. again.) His vocabulary is getting stronger. During his 2 yr exam the doctor asked if he could speak 50 words yet. I told her Oh, definately!
He loves to pretend to cook, he is always cookin. He always brings me "coffee", what a good guy! He enjoys listening to music, reading together and looking at books. Sometimes I'll give him a book at nap time. When he wakes up he'll go through the pages and tell me about things on each page. He loves to help us. Whatever we are doing he wants to help. If Shawn or I are cooking, he'll ask for his stool so he can help crack eggs, which he does very well, or pour ingredients. He loves MaKenna! In the a.m. when I get her, he always wants to "see her", he will get a diaper and a wipe for her. He also likes to lay next to her on her play mat. They also make each other laugh, which is hilarious. We are having a little trouble in the haircut department. Last time we took him for a haircut, he was a tad scared. He was shaking and sweating so bad he clogged the clippers. So his hair is getting a little scruffy. He loves to ride his bike and wear his helmet! His favorite people (aside from us, of course) is Ty and Maggie. And best of all, potty training has begun. No pressure though, but he is using the bathroom 2-3 times a day. Right now we are using the sticker reward method, and it seems to be working really well. We are so excited!
He loves to play outside and go for walks. If you mention in the least we are walking somewhere, he will continue to ask "a go, a go" (to go) and mommy get "sip-sops" (flip flops) until we are out the door.
