July 15 My Birthday!!! I had an amazing day! The day began with Krispy Kreme donuts!! I woke up, had a taste for the devilish donuts and had the two kiddos and myself dressed and out the door in 20 min flat. It's amazing what you can do with the right motivation. Haaa. We recovered from our sugar buzz on the water front in Old Town Alexandria. We walked along the water and played in a little gazebo for about an hour. We had a great time talking about the boats, airplanes and the "brown" water. Then home for a much needed nap all around. For dinner we took the metro (MaKenna's first metro ride! Such a trooper.) to down town DC and ate at an incredible tappas restuarant. The food was amazing and the dessert topped it off beautifully!
We were all fat and sassy when we left.
